Footage produced by Reuters News Archive of the Nigerian head of state, Major General Yakubu Gowon, meeting with a team of foreign observers who were to follow Nigerian troops advancing into territory held by the secessionist state of Biafra. The meeting was held at Dodan Barracks in Lagos on September 23, 1968.
