Ray of Hope in Nigeria

Ray of Hope in Nigeria, published on April 29, 1968, asserts that the two sides in Nigeria’s civil war had moved closer to unconditional exploratory talks than at any time since the shooting had started last July; both the Federal Government and secessionist Biafra seemed to be responding to mounting pressures of friends and friendly governments to find a way to peace.
